Current music:Belle & Sebastian-I'm A Cuckoo

So now I have a website. It's a bit rough around the edges, and it's been in progress so long that I already want to change it, but on the whole I'm quite pleased. A special thank you to Mr. Roger Cosseboom (currently wandering around an endless parking lot in Florida, I think), for taking all my disparate junk and turning it into something navigable.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to offer up those paintings mentioned here before. I was thinking of selling each one for between $75 and $100, but I don't know if that's too much or too little for a bunch of framed 8x10 watercolors. I'm open to some good natured haggling amongst friends, but anything that doesn't sell soonish will end up on the etsy store I'm building, where I'll feel less queasy charging more for complete strangers. As for copies of Blunderbuss, they'll also be going up there (for $3 each). Anyone interested in financing my madness should drop me a line: graham@grahamkahler.com. Paypal info and other pleasantries of the digital age can be discussed there.

For those of you in the Baltimore area, Atomic Books has a number of copies to do with as you please.

Well, back to sweating it out over my next anthology story. Thanks everybody.

Perhaps you'd like to possibly do an art trade sometime? I like your watercolors very much, but as usual I'm poor, and the HOLIDAYS are quickly decending upon me. If you're interested, drop me a "line" at:

Expect a missive from me in the near future then, because getting some art from you would be worth much more than any cash value I could toss on my work. I'm a bit tied up at the moment though, so it might have to wait til after the holidays.

Yeah, it helps to know somebody with the time and wherewithal to give you a hand. Especially if afterwards you can pay them in booze instead of money.

No complaints about your current design, though. And thanks for the praise.

No problem! And as for haggling, I'm sure we can work something out. I'll email you. Or email me if its been a while and you haven't heard from me.

Keep in my though you're still getting a free drawing from me. I haven't forgotten that.

congratulations on the website!! looks great!
i wish i were less poor, i really want to support my art pals and get more art. but i suppose i ought to first frame the stuff i have, huh? well, i'm fooling around with gouache now so maybe i can sell some stuff and then eventually get money and buy a future graham work :D

Was there one that you're absolutely in love with? Because, as with Doug up there, I'd be very amenable to trading for a Meg Hunt original. And if not one of those, perhaps another painting/drawing to be completed at a later date? One should never let penury get in the way of good art. Or the stuff that I make, for that matter.

Thank you for the kind words!

Nice. Those little forest animals are just begging to be clicked on for hidden inspirational popups. Thanks for the link. You're totally going to be added to the 'Sex Objects Worth Your Consideration' page of the Red Waltz as soon as I remember my FTP password.

We're totally on the Blunderbuss and will be ordering copies not just for us, but for all of America. And I can't say anything about the paintings because Lauren's on a business trip and she'd kill me if I dropped a Benjamin on something without consulting her. But: the best reason to go to college is probably to make friends with people who will someday have disposable income.

Hooray! I'm a sex object! And you're very welcome.

Thanks. I believe Roget has already set up all the various birds as buttons. They just aren't linked to anything yet. Are you at all affiliated with that comic shop you mentioned awhile ago? Because I could send you guys some for them to sell on consignment, and I wouldn't get mad or surprised or anything if one or two of them happened to disappear in a puff of smoke, only to materialize on bookshelves in your apartment.

I want the 'Old Man and the Tree'.

But how would I ever get it? Maybe you should deliver it right to my door.

But if you come up with another way, drop me a line. We'll work something out.

And I hate you because you're clearly better than me at everything.

I look forward to the line-dropping. And to the gargoyles, who (like me) fly around at night, but are forced to turn into stone when the sun rises.

And I'm not better than you at everything. For one thing, I don't roll nearly as high as you do. That would be inconceivable.

Glad you like the site. Is there anything of yours I can pimp from the tiny safety of my links page? How's that sprite-based site going?

I'm staying put in the NW this year. If she can find a reasonably priced ticket, Shelley plans to fly home the day after Christmas.
